This broad scope ensures that every aspect of employee health and safety is addressed.
Furthermore, Bastion Technologies will provide specialized expertise in several critical areas:
While the primary location for the contract work will be NASA’s Ames Research Center, Bastion Technologies may also provide services at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, as needed. This flexibility ensures that safety and health measures are consistently applied across multiple NASA facilities.
The contract represents a significant investment in the health and safety of NASA’s workforce. By partnering with Bastion Technologies, NASA aims to enhance its occupational safety and health programs, ensuring a safer and healthier environment for all employees. The comprehensive nature of the services provided under the COSMC also underscores NASA’s commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all its operations.
The awarding of the COSMC to Bastion Technologies marks a pivotal moment for NASA’s safety, health, and mission assurance initiatives. With a maximum potential value of $53 million, this contract reflects NASA’s dedication to creating a safe and healthy workplace while supporting the success of its missions. As Bastion begins its work in early 2025, the collaboration promises to deliver significant improvements in safety and health standards across NASA’s facilities.
