Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been facing rumors about their divorce and separation. A deep fake lip-sync video was circulated online, which triggered the rumors. 

However, new reports say that Abhishek responded to the divorce talk by showing his engagement ring and confirming that he is still married to Aishwarya. 

Abhishek Confirms Relationship Status as Still Married

In an interview with Bollywood UK Media, Abhishek addressed the rumors by displaying his wedding ring and stating, Still Married. 

He further added, I dont have anything to say about that. You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand, why you do it; You must file some stories. Its okay; we are celebrities, and we have to take it. 

Deepfake Video Sparked Divorce Rumors

A deep fake video went viral where he supposedly talks about separating from Aishwarya. He also mentioned their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, and said, This July, Aishwarya and I have decided to get divorced.

Rumors intensify with separate appearances

The rumors about the divorce got their validation when they showed up separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchants wedding. Aishwarya attended with her daughter, while Abhishek arrived with his entire Bachchan family on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Center. 

The rumors also spiced up when Aishwarya was seen on vacation in New York with Aradhaya, without Abhishek. 

Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the knot in 2007 and had their first child, Aaradhya, in 2011. They have been married for 17 years and have appeared together in films such as Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Naa Kaho, Guru, Dhoom 2, and Raavan.

Abhishek Bachchans upcoming movie projects

Abhishek is now part of the movie ‘King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. Shah Rukh has recently confirmed his role in ‘King. In addition to this film, Abhishek will appear in Remo DSouzas upcoming project called ‘Be Happy’, which also features Nora Fatehi. He is also involved in the next film, directed by Shoojit Sircar.
