It was a cliff-hanger series of sea hostility as the Indian Navy initiated a bold and tactical raid on strategic Pakistani Navy installations at Karachi. It is the first huge Indian naval raid to this extent after the mythical 1971 war, wherein the shattered Karachi Harbour strikes had been witnessed.
