In a landmark move towards inclusiveness, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is contemplating a policy shift to allow students of Class 12 arts and commerce stream to pursue commercial pilot training. The move aims to eliminate the traditional pre-requisite of physics and mathematics at the higher secondary stage to make way for more possibility of commercial pilot licenses (CPL).
