AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has moved a petition in the Supreme Court against the Waqf Act, 2025, as "unconstitutional" and claiming that it is attempting to "destroy" Waqf property. The interim relief petitions would be heard by the Supreme Court on May 20.
