Under the national security line, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has issued a strict advisory to all news media, news agencies, web media, and social media by the Government of India. The advisory, signed and dated by Deputy Director Kshitij Aggarwal, urges the highest sense of responsibility in reporting Defence operations-related affairs and deployment of security force personnel.
