In light of recent statements made by U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard regarding issues with the security of electronic voting machines (EVMs), India's Election Commission of India (ECI) has categorically asserted that Indian EVMs are stand-alone, non-networked machines and cannot be hacked through the internet or wireless means.
