Security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region have neutralized two senior Maoist operatives during an encounter in the Kilam-Bargum forests, recovering arms and explosives in a significant operation against insurgency.​

An encounter broke out between the Army and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on April 14, 2025. One soldier was injured in the gunfight as forces intensified operations in Lasana village to flush out militants hiding in the region.
