In a shocking incident, a third-year MBBS student in Sangli district was allegedly drugged and gang-raped by two of her classmates and a friend of theirs. The incident, which reportedly occurred on May 18, 2025, came to light after the survivor gathered the courage to report the horrific crime to her parents, who then approached the police.
