Four decades after Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma wrote his name in history as the first Indian to journey to space, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is set to follow in his footsteps, marking a monumental moment for India's space aspirations. Shukla, who is a distinguished officer of the Indian Air Force (IAF), is set to become the second Indian to venture into orbit and the first to visit the International Space Station (ISS) as part of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4).
