Deaf & Mute Girl Raped; Private Parts Burned with Cigarettes

An 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an unidentified accused in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur. The accused allegedly burned her private parts with cigarettes. A case has been registered, and interrogation of the accused is underway.
Girl was later on found unconscious in a field with multiple injuries. She had cigarette burn marks on her private parts and also bite marks,as reported.
Further, according to the report, the girl went missing on Tuesday evening after going to a field to relieve herself. The incident came to light the next day, when a man from her village found her lying unconscious in a field around 500 m from her home.
She was found half-naked with her face swollen, following which, the man who saw her first immediately informed her family. Following a complaint by the girl's father, a case was registered, and three police teams were deployed to arrest the suspect.
Additional SP Atul Kumar Srivastava said that the survivor was immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. He also added: "We are using CCTV footage and mobile surveillance data to track down the accused.”
The police arrested a suspect in the case, allegedly from the same village as her. An interrogation has begun against the suspect.
According to a report, Dr Anju Singh, who conducted a medical examination of the girl, said, "It is a clear case of rape by one or more persons, as there were multiple injuries on her private parts."
Singh further added, "The girl's face had been struck with a blunt object, leaving it swollen."
"The girl's clothes were stained with blood. After completing the medico-legal examination and being referred to a higher centre," he added.
The survivor was terrified and could not explain anything, Dr Anju Singh said. The doctor described the incident as "one of the most horrific sexual crimes" ever seen.
The girl's mother added, "My daughter is extremely terrified. She is getting fits after the incident."
In another, almost similar yet dissimilar in extent, a migrant laborer from Bihar accused of killing a five-year-old girl, had died in a police encounter in Karnataka’s Hubballi on Sunday. The police suspect the child was raped before she was murdered but were awaiting post-mortem reports to confirm the same.
The accused, identified as Ritesh Kumar, 35, was a native of Patna in Bihar. Commissioner of Police, Hubballi-Dharwad city, said Ritesh Kumar was shot as he tried to attack the police in a bid to escape. The police shot Ritesh Kumar in his leg and back. He was declared “brought dead” when he was taken to Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute-Hubballi.
According to the police, Ritesh Kumar lured the child with chocolates on Sunday morning. The child’s father is a painter and the mother a housemaid. The mother had taken the child to the house where she worked, and the child was playing outside when the accused spotted the girl and took her away.
When the mother found that the girl was missing, she immediately raised an alarm. The locals searched for the kid and found her body in a desolate area in Adhyapaka Nagar in Hubballi.
After the news of the girl’s death spread, several residents in the city had staged a protest demanding action against the accused. Meanwhile, CCTV footage of Ritesh Kumar carrying the child also went viral.
