Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu has secured a decisive victory in the Tarn Taran Assembly by-poll 2025.

The AAP has officially announced Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of the Trident Group, as its candidate for the Rajya Sabha bypoll in Punjab.

Sanjeev Arora, AAP MLA on Thursday took oath as a State Minister, promising the state to be loyal with his duties. CM Mann and AAP's Chief extend their congratulations to him.

A Mohali District Court on Wednesday extended the remand of SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia for four days. Such an extension has been granted after vigilance bureau claimed that he is not cooperating, and was misguiding with the authorities.

Bikram Singh Majithia, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former President of Punjab on Tuesday reached to Punjab and Haryana High Court following his arrest on June 25 under Disproportionate Assets case.

In connection to the arrest of SAD leader, CM Mann stated that the government will not spare anyone, whether one is politically strong or have power connections. He added that the anti drug campaign (Yudh Nashian Virudh) is giving successful results towards the betterment of state.
