A viral video surfacing on social media has garnered significant public attention, showing a wife learning Marathi for her husband. The video features an American Woman, Candace Karne, who is learning Marathi to impress her Indian husband, Aniket Karne.

People are pouring much love for the woman's efforts for her husband. In the Instagram reel, she is seen speaking basic Marathi phrases. She captioned the shared video as, "I'm not perfect but I'm trying. Go easy on me."

Having a glimpse on the video, Mrs Karne starts it with a morning greeting, uses a phrase, "Shubh Sakal, Kaisa Ahes?" which means "Good Morning, How are You?"

Her husband, surprised with her version, brightens up with warm smile. Also, he replies back to her in his own native language "Marathi." But to this, Mrs Carne admits that she did not understand what he said.

In the video, she is also seen greeting her husband by saying "Namaskar." She as well used several other phrases which include-

"Raatri Jevaaylaa Kay ahe?" This means "What is for Dinner?"
"Dhanyawad" which means "Thank You"

Public Reaction

Public showed immense love for the efforts which a wife made for her husband. Two of the netizens dropped two different phrases in the comment section, added "say this next time to watch him blush."

From these, one wrote "Jevlas Ka" which means "I love you." While another mentioned, "Aho Aika" which means "Hey, listen!"

Where a group of people embraced the love of one towards her partner, another group linked it to the political aspect as there had been going a language row. The user wrote-

"MNS would have happy tears."

To this comment, one even replied, "MNS would be so proud." This has come ahead after MNS (Maharashtra Navniran Sena) activists were seen assaulting a sweet shop owner in Mumbai for not speaking Marathi. In a separate incident, MNS workers damaged the office of share market investor Sushil Kedia because he refused to speak Marathi and challenged Raj Thackeray.
